Energy Control in Manufacturing
The Feneroo software provides full control over energy flows in buildings, delivering feedback on consumption within hours and allowing optimisation according to your individual needs.
What’s Feneroo
Feneroo is a software extension on top of an existing PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or BEMS (Building Energy Management System). It:
- recognizes the energy flow pathways, properties and demands of a building
- allows these to be proactively modified and directed in a matter of days
- finds the optimal utilization of all the energy available
Feneroo is designed as a toolkit for active energy management in buildings:
- Feneroo Base – the basis for precise energy flow control
- Feneroo Spine – Level 1 for economical building operation control
- Feneroo Top – Level 2 for loss-free optimisation
Feneroo Base – the Foundation of the Entire Toolkit
- collects and analyses building data (BEMS)
- creates an energy model of the building
- clearly shows when and how the building draws energy
- implements energy management scenarios
- how energy consumption can be permanently reduced without affecting the comfort of the indoor environment
- how we can identify potential problems before they arise
Data analysis output
- changes to the building’s energy flow pathways during the day/work week/season
- impact of energy saving measures on energy consumption
- detection of faults and creeping changes in the building’s installation
Typically, changes can be detected in 2-7 days depending on the nature of the building operation.
Feneroo Base applies energy management in accordance with EN ISO 50001.

FenerooBrew – a Dedicated Solution for Your Brewery
We work with routinely collected data from your PLC/BEMS. The PLC/BEMS provides all the relevant data for analysis.
Cooling Regulation of Lager Tanks Without FenerooBrew

- beer is cooled to 3°C regardless of the energy price
- the output of the cooling equipment is modulated only according to the temperature, the total cost of cooling is 655 CZK for the period under review
Savings After Deployment of FenerooBrew

- the cooling regulation often uses the full cooling capacity to chill the tank during periods of cheap energy and to bridge periods of expensive energy with no or minimal cooling when possible
- the average beer temperature is slightly lower (2.6°C) and the cooling costs for the period under review are only 592 CZK
- FenerooBrew thus saves 9.6% of the energy used for cooling the beer
- by deploying FenerooBrew, savings of 5-10% can be achieved depending on the circumstances
You can find a summary of the features that enable FenerooBrew to comprehensively manage the energy of your brewery in this short presentation (currently only available in Czech).
